CMT provide highly capable and economic cylindrical grinding solutions for producers of serial parts.
We make machines with many options for locating, grinding and automatically handling workpieces. Where no standard solution exists, CMT are able to design and build bespoke machine tools.
In addition, CMT offer automation solutions for integration of other processes to make manufacturing cells.

Curtis Machine Tools Ltd is part of the Douglas Curtis Machine Tools group, established in 1973 by Douglas and Richard Curtis, and still wholly owned by the Curtis family.

In the 36 years that ‘Curtis’ have been in metal cutting, engineering has evolved dramatically.
New processes, refinements in mature technologies, plus improved production control and quality assurance methods have rightly spurred new levels of expectation from users of machine tools.
